BHS Foundation Beaded Toutjie

Switching between sunnies, binoculars, and a viewfinder is a juggle we’ve almost perfected, but not without the help of our super handy “toutjies”. A very useful leash for your shades, this beaded accessory keeps them close by when you’ve got your hands full, and lets you get on with important business, like birding.

Our beaded toutjies are custom made by local bead-workers on the border of the Kruger National Park for the BHS Foundation. Designed in our BHS brand colours (à la safari) with a stamped pendant featuring our elephant icon, these elasticated, easy-to-wear items are simply local and lekker!

This local enterprise relationship fuels our Foundation too - all profits made from the sales of our beaded items are donated to the BHS Foundation, where we build annual bursaries which are awarded to local youths entering training for careers in conservation.
